The 2019 Qingdao International Software Integration & Innovation Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Qingdao International Soft Expo"), supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hosted by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, will be held at the Qingdao International Convention Center from July 25 to 27.

Themed "ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Empowering Industrial Development," the 2019 Qingdao International Soft Expo focuses on cultivating and enhancing the software industry's "Five Famouss" (famous products, enterprises, parks, exhibitions, and individuals). It centers on software empowerment and innovative development in the field of "high-end manufacturing + artificial intelligence." By organizing key integrated activities encompassing "exhibition, forum, and competition"—including exhibitions, forums, releases, contests, and matchmaking negotiations—the expo will showcase innovative achievements in smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, information consumption, and the digital economy. It aims to facilitate software-defined smart factories, digitally-driven advanced manufacturing, platform-supported industrial ecosystems, and technology-led information consumption, establishing a resource integration platform for investment promotion, talent attraction, transaction matching, and industrial convergence. This actively contributes to building Qingdao into a strong city of intelligent manufacturing and accelerates its process of becoming a famous Chinese software city.

It is reported that this year's Qingdao International Soft Expo has extensively invited renowned domestic, international, and local enterprises related to software and ICT to exhibit and display new software products and achievements. The venue will feature multiple sections including a Thematic Exhibition Zone, a Comprehensive Exhibition Zone for Software Industry Development Achievements, a Zone for Renowned Domestic and International Software Enterprises, and a Multi-functional Zone for Talent Exchange, Project Matchmaking, and Achievement Releases. Spanning two halls, the total exhibition area will be 20,000 square meters.

The Thematic Exhibition Zone is a highlight of this year's expo, comprising seven themes that align with industry frontiers and Qingdao's industrial characteristics: Smart City Information Security, Blockchain Information Security, Demonstration of Building a Famous Chinese Software City with Distinctive Features, Virtual Reality IC Design Communication Technology, Big Data IoT Industrial Software, 3D Printing Marine Information Intelligent Manufacturing, and Industrial Internet Demonstration Projects. During the expo, events such as the National Industrial APP Contest and the Software Industry Project Matchmaking & Talent Exchange Achievement Release Conference will also be held.

Among them, the 3D Printing Thematic Exhibition Zone covers an area of 300 square meters, with 11 3D printing enterprises currently registered to exhibit. Furthermore, this Soft Expo has attracted numerous manufacturing-oriented software-related enterprises to participate, including 30 intelligent manufacturing companies such as Haier and ABB. They will bring industrial internet platforms like Haier's COSMOPlat and Ronshine's C2P, intelligent products such as smart home appliances, smart vehicles, smart equipment, and robots, as well as the latest excellent solutions like smart homes and smart factories, showcasing their achievements in the application of industrial technology softwareization.

To reflect the Qingdao International Soft Expo's purpose of empowering industrial development, this year's expo has added a blockchain thematic exhibition, comprehensively showcasing the application of blockchain technology in industries such as information security, financial management, and smart cities. A total of 20 units have registered for the blockchain exhibition zone. They will showcase and release the latest achievements like "Blockchain + Industrial Big Data" at the Soft Expo, helping Qingdao take the lead in the development of the blockchain technology industry.

In addition, the 2019 World Industrial Internet Conference will be held concurrently with the 2019 Qingdao International Soft Expo.
